Rough Itinerary: Tue Depart Sterling Hts at 6am with a pickup in Dearborn by 6:45am.  Potential pickup in Kalamazoo also.  Kick back to Historic Detroit Lion DVD’s, relax and enjoy the ride.  Meal stop around Noon.  We will arrive at the Downtown Hotel at 6pm.  The Crowne Plaza is 3 blocks from the “Electric” Power & Light District.  So many Food & Beverage choices – Let’s have a Welcome to KC Party at McFadden’s Sports Saloon!!

Wed  Kick off the day with a Bus Tour starting at 9am, including a Tour of Arrowhead Stadium starting at 10am.  A 90-minute Guided Tour of the Press Box, CommunityAmerica Club Level, Field, Hall of Honor, Locker Room, Press Conference Room, Broadcast Area and Founder’s Club. After lunch a few Photo Ops – KC Fountains – The Money Museum – Union Station to name a few.  Negro Leagues Baseball Museum & the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame are a must while we are in KC.  Evening how about Beer Pong at No Other Pub or Axe Throwing at Blade and Timber?  Famous KC BBQ is a Must!!!

Thu Last full day in KC – check out anything you have missed – Shoot some Hoops at the College Basketball Experience – take a ride on the KC Streetcar – Maybe the WW1 Museum & Memorial – Pre Game at Johnny’s Tavern.  2pm we will head towards the Stadium for a 3 Hour Pre Game Tailgate Party!!  All U Can Eat & Drink LION’s Tailgate Party till 6!!  Arrowhead is a short walk from the Bus Lot.  Game Time is 7:20pm.  Your DETROIT LIONS are kicking off the 2023 Season!!!  Take plenty of pictures, check out the Stadium, and settle in for One Pride Football!!!  After the Game plenty of Post Game Celebration and Discussion.  Stay out late – sleep on the ride home.

Fri We will head for home at 9am.  Grab a Big Breakfast first.  Kick back and relax to Movies & more Football.  Plenty of sleeping too.  Short Meal Stop around Noon.  Longer Meal Stop around 5.  Plan to arrive in the Detroit area around 11pm.  Kansas City Football Getaway now in the Books!!
